Course Overview

More than 40 years ago, Alvin Toffler had mentioned that robotic literacy will be a necessity in the future. Now we are on that supposed future. Nowadays, robots are not only physical, R2D2 style, but advanced software apps, like the ChatGPT.

This is the first time that many of us experience the Artificial Generative Intelligence, or a touch of Artificial General Intelligence, nevertheless, it won’t be the last time. Many of such robots will be around very soon. ChatGPT and its Applications course can be useful for individuals who are interested in learning about the capabilities and potential applications of chatbot models like ChatGPT, how it works, its applications, and how we can use it efficiently. This is a new realm, so, join us to explore it together.

Course Objectives

This Professional Certificate will equip learners with the following competencies:

  • Understand ChatGPT and its major components, including its architecture and key functionalities.

  • Customise and fine-tune ChatGPT for specific business needs and industry requirements.
  • Recognise the strengths, weaknesses, risks, and limitations of ChatGPT
  • Gain knowledge of generative AI models, such as GANs, VAEs, and Transformer-based architectures like GPT, and apply the knowledge gained to implement generative models
  • Develop a solid understanding of NLP concepts and techniques, and apply them practically to build chatbots and NLP applications.
