Career Switching Programmes

Career Switching Programmes are learning and skill-building programmes that are designed for mid-career switchers.

The goal is to re-skill Professionals, Managers, Executives, and Technicians (PMETs), to better equip them in the area of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). The programme entails not only training and/or retraining PMETs in new and emerging tech or business practices, but also redirecting them to high-growth ICT sectors.

Our Career Switching Programmes are designed to enhance employability and develop change agility across industries. Learn from seasoned professionals, acquire industry-relevant skills, and keep abreast of current workplace practices.

For the Career Conversion Programme (Place and Train) programme, NUS partners with Workforce Singapore (WSG) and companies in helping professionals to advance their career and, at the same time, fulfilling the manpower needs in high-growth sectors.

The Career Transition Programme (Train and Place) programme is an initiative with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). It is open to eligible Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and PRs who meet the eligibility criteria.

With the NUS Career Switching Programmes, mid-career switchers can shift occupations, careers, or even industries with competency and confidence. They can transit into new jobs in high-growth sectors, with more opportunities for advancement.
