Course Overview

Managing a sustainable and profitable business requires you to develop deep understanding of the dynamics among key components of business, e.g., marketing and sales, HR resource strategy and management, supply chain operations and resources optimisation and implement the appropriate strategies in a timely fashion. This course will provide the basic foundation to equip leaders and managers with systems thinking and system dynamics skill sets that are critical in uncovering deep and counterintuitive insights into the dynamics management of a profitable business model. Learning Outcomes

At the end of the programme, participants are expected to be able to: 
(1) Describe and apply systems thinking and system dynamics in modelling a business model
(2) Explain how the use of systems thinking and system dynamics can help leaders develop deep and counterintuitive insights and make better decisions in managing their dynamics business model.
(3) Describe and apply the process of systems and system dynamics modelling effectively
(4) Use simulation tools such as loopy and vensim to model common dynamics problems of a digital business model
