Course Overview
Digital transformation is about the adoption of digital technologies to meet business goals. But with the business world today is charged with soaring volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, Business leaders now require additional skills in augmenting the business with relevant digital technology and extracting value from these digital assets through effective operation.
This course is curated for these business executives with the operational intricacies of the transformation; and more importantly the operational knowledge in the adoption, operation and optimization of the various digital technologies.
The course is designed with an appropriate amount of hands-on individual and group learning to solidify the understanding of the various digital technologies widely used in the industry, and pre-eminently by companies whom have walked the transformation path with years of successes and failures.
This course is part of the NUS Digital Transformation Programme.

In this Professional Certificate, participants will be introduced to the following areas to learn to manage their companies’ digital tech operation:

Mr Soh Kin Wei

Mr Soh Kin Wei
Mr Soh Kin Wei has over 28 years of senior IT leadership experience in global industry-leading companies such as Pfizer, Cargill and Air Liquide. He is now VP, Digital and IT of Air Liquide, a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. In Air Liquide Kin Wei is responsible for creating value through digital technology that run, protect and change the business. Prior to Air Liquide he was the Chief Technology Officer of Jaungle, and Chief Information Officer APAC for Cargill, where he directed the organization’s overall IT strategy and provide vision and leadership in all technology operation. Throughout his career, Kin Wei has re-energized century-old businesses through digitally enabled transformations, led enterprise-wide cloud, data and ERP programs, and remodelled global finance and IT shared services operations that aligned to business aspirations. Well-travelled to over 25 countries for work, he is also personally a startup evangelist.
Kin Wei received his MBA with honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He has a BS degree with distinction in Computer and Information Science from the University of Singapore.
He is passionate in paying it forward by sharing his experience with aspiring ICT professionals.
Mr Thian-Hwei Kung

Mr Thian-Hwei Kung
Mr Thian-Hwei Kung is an IT practitioner, experienced in IT applications and infrastructure for Infocomm and high tech manufacturing industries with more than 30 years in manufacturing environment with MNC like Makino, Sanmina-SCI, Infineon Technologies.
In Makino and Sanmina-SCI, Thian-Hwei served in regional leading role in the organisations, leading teams in area of technology, digitization, leading the organisation in Industry 4.0 efforts. In this role, he worked with business to deliver IT projects, solutions and digitization across the companies. With many years in diverse manufacturing sectors, Thian Hwei has acquired experiences and knowledge in manufacturing processes and systems. He is able to share practices in the use of technologies in the manufacturing industry sector to support businesses.
In the last 12 months, Thian-Hwei is one of the facilitators for the Advanced Manufacturing modules and sharing the concepts and experiences of digitization in manufacturing.
