Mentorship Support Grant

The Mentorship Support Grant (MSG) is an initiative by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). It is administered by the National University of Singapore to aid enterprises in strengthening capabilities such as innovation and transformation. This is done through implementation-led training, consultancy services and workplace-centric projects for business and operational transformation.

How You Can Apply

Submission

  • Apply via NUS Computing’s ACE team.
  • Include company profile, project proposal, implementation plan and costing.

Evaluation 

  • Reviewed by NUS Computing and NUS SCALE.
  • Approval from SSG takes approximately three to four months.

How Does It Work

Project Construct

  • 3 to 6 months in duration
  • Consultation services
  • Mentorship and coaching

Implementation Process

  • Project Duration:
    – Start and finish within 1 year of agreement signing.
  • Key Steps:
    – Mid-point review to track progress and address challenges.
    – Final closing session to assess outcomes and next steps.
    – All sessions documented and acknowledged by mentor and company.

Reporting Requirements

  • Submit a Completion Report with:
    – Activities and outcomes
    – Mentorship efffectiveness surveys
    – Timesheet
  • Declare any overlapping government funding support.

Compliance and Audit

  • Records Retention:
    – Minimum three years
  • Subject to audits by NUS or SSG
  • Non-compliance may lead to clawback of funds
