Course Overview

A UX Designer is someone whose work involves the utilisation of UXD. This course introduces UXD, the role of a UX Designer in the system development life cycle and the skillsets a UX Designer must have to carry out effective UXD.

This course is part of Professional Certificate in User Experience Design.

Course Objectives

This course provides the participant with knowledge and skills to

  • Understand what UXD is.
  • Understand the role of a UX Designer in the entire system development life cycle.
  • Understand the skillsets a UX Designer must have to perform UXD.
  • Understand what is meant by effective UXD

Who Should Attend

UI Designer

Prerequisites

Required years of experience in Service/System Design and/or customer/client-facing roles: 1 year.

English proficiency: Good.

Total Nett Programme Fee Payable, Including GST, after additional funding from the various funding schemes

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025. Participants must fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding.
