Course Objectives

This course makes complex financial concepts accessible to participants with no background in finance or technology. They will have more intelligent discussions with a financial advisor and a checklist to see if their financial health is good. They will be able to understand and calculate financial ratios and models. They will be able to create their investment strategy and build and track their portfolios. They will learn about several available data platforms and how to gather financial data and analyse it. They will also learn different investing strategies and test them through paper trading systems.

Participants must fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding.
Singaporeans and Singapore PRs are eligible for up to 90% SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding, subject to SSG funding guidelines.

Other Information

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025.
