Course Overview

This course introduces students to the design and implementation of linear data structures and related algorithms. It covers linear data structures (linked lists, stacks, queues), searching and sorting algorithms, and basic analysis of algorithms.

Course Objectives

This course will equip learners with the following skills and knowledge:

    A/Prof Soo Yuen Jien

    A/Prof Soo Yuen Jien has been in NUS for more than 20 years. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D degree from NUS in year 2000, 2001 and 2006 respectively. Starting off as a teaching assistant in year 2000, he has since enjoyed teaching for 10 plus years. Yuen Jien is now an Associate Professor in Computer Science Department of School of Computing.
