Course Overview

AI has fundamentally transformed the world we live in from consumer devices, digital services, transportation, healthcare and professional services like banking and finance and law. AI innovators will play an increasingly important role in our society as they innovate to develop new products, services and solutions to solve problems faced by humanity. This programme on AI Innovation Management seeks to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to manage the entire AI innovation value chain in an integrated manner covering the science behind AI (especially machine learning), the business aspects of AI-enabled services but more importantly ensuring compliance with AI ethics. This programme seeks to provide participants with an understanding of the AI ecosystem and focuses on equipping participants with the skills to design the overarching development frameworks to manage AI innovation.

Course Objectives

At the end of the programme, the participants will be able to:

  • Design and implement AI innovation development frameworks integrating business strategy, AI ethics and governance principles and go to market commercialization plans.
  • Develop methodologies and processes to manage the AI innovation value chain including developing the capabilities and skill sets of employees and partners to deliver the desired outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with AI ethics and governance as well as supporting ESG1 principles
  • Plan and implement a development roadmap for AI deployment that drives value for their organization in a sustainable manner.

Other Information

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025.
