Course Overview

With cyber threats and breaches becoming more prevalent and increasing in sophistication, every organisation must learn to manage their cybersecurity risk to ensure business continuity and maintain a positive reputation. To do so, IT professionals must understand security vulnerabilities, take measures to prevent them, and benchmark with industry standards and best practices. This two-day programme in cybersecurity governance, strategy and risk management provides participants with the fundamental framework to identify cyber risks and implement mitigating controls in an organisation.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will learn:

  1. IT Governance and Management Framework Oversight
  2. Establish, implement and Managing Contingency Risk
  3. Internal and External Risk Controls through Preventive, detective & corrective action
  4. Cyber Risk, Threats & System Vulnerabilities
  5. Cyber Security Components

Prerequisites

The minimum entry requirement for this couse is a diploma.

  2. Participants must fulfill at least 75% attendance and pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding.
  3. The applicable funding is for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs. This is subject to change and in accordance with SSG funding guidelines as of course commencement.

Other Information

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025.
