This course is offered biannually, available once every six months.

Course Overview

This course teaches important data engineering concepts including ecosystem and lifecycle. It will introduce different components of data engineering ecosystems such as data types, formats and data sources. Learners will acquire required data engineering knowledge and be able to differentiate various career paths such as data engineer, data scientist and data analyst.

Course Objectives

This course will equip learners with the following competencies:

Foundations of data engineering
An understanding of systems, processes and tools for a data engineer
An understanding of the data engineering ecosystem
The ability to differentiate different job roles such as data engineer, data scientist and data analyst
