Course Objectives

This Advanced Professional Certificate will equip learners with the following competencies:

  • Understand the basic electronics skills needed to support Microcontroller Programming for Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Create prototype of intelligent systems and connect them to microcontrollers for communication
  • Understand the importance of Cloud Technologies for secure communications between the devices and the cloud servers
  • Acquire the skills to design and build resilient and scalable backend servers, efficient and robust backend databases and distributed ledgers
  • Understand the fundamental Deep Learning skills to make predictions about IoT data
  • Design deep learning neural networks to analyse, understand and react to IoT data
